AT THE STATE GOVERNMENT OFFICES, Home of the Regional Story Told In Glass Mosaic Mural by Harold Freedman and the State Studio. CORNER LITTLE MALOP ST & FENWICK ST GEELONG 3220. TO BE LAUNCHED BY MR NEVILLE BARWICK. Neville was a Director of the Education Department of Victoria and had a close association with State Studio in the 1970s.

Harold Freedman Exbibition Opening and Book Launch Events

On Friday the 28th April we held the Melbourne book launch for Harold's book at the Fire Services Museum in East Melbourne.
Heidi Victoria the Shadow Arts Minister spoke really well, she is also an advocate for seeing the History of Transport Mural relocated into a more publicly accessible site.

Harold's daughter Margaret flew out from London for the book launch and to see the exhibition, she also contributed to the story in the book.
We also took the opportunity to have a quick look after 30+ years at the Fire mosaic, it's standing up really well but needs a good clean..
Sunday afternoon April the 2nd at Ballarat Gallery we held the Harold Freedman Exhibition opening and Book Launch, it was an amazing time with about 150 people , lots of Harold's family and old associates from up to 50 years ago.
Prof Kier Reeves opened the Exhibition , Julie McLaren Exhibition curator Ballarat Gallery, David Freedman Harold's son & author, David Jack assistant to Harold and author, Gavin Fry author book designer & artist.
